Yey! Yippee! I'm so happy yesterday I won a piano solo competition at GI (Grand Indonesia)!!
I'm so scared and nervous because all my opponent played so well, the truth is I'm not mentally prepared , but when the MC called my number (18) and my name, I went to the stage and bowed down first to the judges, I tried to gave my best smile to them, but it turns into a very wide smile, a very weird smile i thought. Then I tried to calm down before playing the piano, I prayed to God so He could help me and guided me when I played The beautiful Blue Danube by Johann Strauss. When I touch the piano toots, suddenly i felt very calm and I can enjoy the song more freely than before (when I practicing), I don't care if i win or not, the most important is I already give my best to God. After I finished playing, I bowed again and went back to my seat. I realize there are some mistakes that I made when I played, but still I'm very happy cause I already pass that time.I wait until the announcement of the winner, the MC read the winner from the 3rd runner ups, after she finished read the runner ups, my heart beat so fast, i thought i couldn't win, but then the MC called my name!! WOW Amazing i thought, I immediately say thank to GOD! then I go to the stage and got Chalice! and some prizes!:D

Wow don't know you play piano! Congratulation for 3rd rank! As your friend, I'm proud to have you here hahaha... Next time, I want to see you playing piano, I'm so curious, I think piano is a hard instrument to play, I'm so envy those who able to play it well :P

ReplyDeletePiano isn't that hard, but I think the hardest part is 'hearing' lol I'm not too good at hearing cadence xD
if u serious with it (something that u like),then u will success with it! I believe u can play a piano too! maybe someday u will be a pianist (:
